1. Scope and developer
This Privacy Policy applies to JJ Storage Cleaner, a macOS storage review and cleanup utility developed and published by JJ Studio Entertainment.
JJ Storage Cleaner does not require a JJ Studio Entertainment account, and we do not operate a developer-hosted user profile or cloud account service for the app.
2. Local file analysis and processing
JJ Storage Cleaner analyzes folders and files that you explicitly choose on your Mac or connected storage. File enumeration, size analysis, duplicate detection, and Developer Files review are performed locally on your device.
The app does not send the contents of your files, filenames, folder paths, duplicate hashes, or scan results to JJ Studio Entertainment servers.
Scanning is designed to be read-only. Protected macOS and application locations are excluded by the app's safety rules. When a Pro user confirms a supported removal operation, selected Large Files or Duplicates are moved to the macOS Trash rather than permanently deleted.
Developer Files is a review-only feature. It helps you inspect development-related build outputs, dependency folders, and generated data without automatically removing them.
3. Protected media access
If a folder you explicitly select contains protected media-library content, macOS may ask for permission to access Apple Music, music and video activity, or the media library. JJ Storage Cleaner uses this access only to inspect files inside the folder you chose so it can calculate file sizes and identify large or duplicate files.
Media-library access is not used to play music, build a listening profile, serve advertising, or upload media to JJ Studio Entertainment. Analysis remains local to your Mac.
If you deny access, JJ Storage Cleaner is designed to skip inaccessible protected resources and continue analyzing accessible items where possible.
4. Information stored locally on your device
JJ Storage Cleaner may store limited preferences and app state locally so the app can function normally. This can include the selected interface language, Light or Dark appearance preference, and temporary UI state.
The app may also keep limited local state related to the current Pro experience. Apple StoreKit entitlement information remains the authoritative source used to determine whether Pro access is active.
5. JJ Storage Cleaner Pro
JJ Storage Cleaner offers an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase called JJ Storage Cleaner Pro. Pro unlocks the ability to move selected Large Files and Duplicates to Trash directly inside the app.
Purchases and restorations are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple may process Apple Account, payment, tax, device, and transaction information under Apple's own policies.
JJ Storage Cleaner receives only the StoreKit transaction or entitlement information needed to determine whether Pro access is valid. JJ Studio Entertainment does not receive your full payment-card number or Apple Account password.

6. Data sharing and third parties
JJ Storage Cleaner does not sell personal information and does not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.
Third parties may process information only in connection with services you choose to use, such as:
- Apple, for App Store purchases, restorations, device services, permissions, and platform operation.
- Hosting, network, email, or security providers when you visit our website or contact us for support.
7. Support communications and website data
If you contact JJ Studio Entertainment for support, we may receive the email address, message, attachments, screenshots, diagnostic details, and other information you voluntarily provide. We use it to respond to your request, investigate issues, protect our services, and maintain appropriate support records.
This policy is hosted on the JJ Studio Entertainment developer website. Website hosting, network, and security providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, requested pages, and security events to deliver and protect the website. Website traffic is separate from JJ Storage Cleaner's in-app file analysis.
8. Data retention and deletion
- Local app data: remains on your Mac until removed by the app, cleared where macOS allows, or deleted when you uninstall the app.
- App Store purchase records: are retained by Apple according to Apple's accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, legal, and platform requirements.
- Support communications: may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain support history, protect services, or meet legal obligations.
JJ Storage Cleaner does not create a JJ Studio Entertainment user account, so there is no online JJ Storage Cleaner account to delete.
9. Security
JJ Storage Cleaner is designed to minimize developer-hosted data and keep file analysis local to your Mac. The app uses conservative safety rules for supported removal operations and relies on Apple StoreKit for purchase processing.
No application, device, operating system, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep macOS updated and use the security controls provided by Apple.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
You can control your use of JJ Storage Cleaner by:
- choosing which folders the app may analyze;
- allowing or denying protected-resource permissions presented by macOS;
- reviewing files before any supported removal operation;
- using Reveal in Finder to inspect files outside the app;
- uninstalling the app to remove app-local data, subject to operating-system backup behavior;
- contacting Apple about App Store purchase information; and
- contacting JJ Studio Entertainment about information you voluntarily provided for support.
Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information held by us. We can act only on information we actually possess. Requests relating to information held by Apple may need to be directed to Apple.
11. Children's privacy
JJ Storage Cleaner is a general-purpose macOS utility and is not specifically designed as a child-directed service. The app does not require users to submit their name, age, or contact details to use its core features.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when JJ Storage Cleaner's features, platform requirements, purchase flows, support practices, third-party services, or applicable laws change. The current version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date.
