How Tibia Tools handles local progress, public game lookups and external data sources.

Privacy Policy

Tibia Tools combines on-device progress tracking with public Tibia information. This policy explains what is stored locally and when external services are contacted.

1. Overview and unofficial project status

Tibia Tools is an unofficial fan-made companion developed by JJ Studio Entertainment for players of Tibia. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by CipSoft GmbH.

Tibia, related names and game content remain the property of CipSoft GmbH.

2. Information stored on your device

Tibia Tools stores app preferences and character-related state locally on your device. Depending on the feature, this may include saved characters, favorites, tracker status, quest progress, access progress, Soul Core progress, recurring-task progress and saved hunt information.

Local storage is used so character progress can remain associated with the character you selected.

3. Character names and public lookups

When you search for or open public Tibia information such as a character, world, guild, house, ranking or news item, the values needed for that lookup may be sent to the public data service used by the app.

Character and world information requested through these features is based on publicly available Tibia data.

4. TibiaData API

Tibia Tools uses TibiaData v4 for runtime public game information. Requests to that service may include the lookup parameters required for the feature and normal network information such as your IP address and request metadata.

TibiaData processes those requests under its own service and privacy practices.

5. Maps, external links and web content

Some features may open external Tibia pages, official news links or map-related content. Map functionality may use TibiaMaps.io.

When you open external content, the destination service may receive standard web request information and may apply its own privacy policy.

6. Local trackers and calculators

Character trackers and many calculator features operate primarily with local app state or offline reference data. Tracker updates you make are stored locally unless a feature explicitly needs current public data.

Some tools, such as Loot Split, are designed to perform their calculations locally rather than sending your calculator inputs to a remote calculation service.

7. Saved hunts

Hunt Analyzer can save hunt information for later review. Saved hunt data is associated with the character and stored locally by the app.

Clearing application data or uninstalling the app may remove locally stored hunt and progress information.

8. Reference data and sources

Runtime public data is obtained through TibiaData v4. Some offline reference datasets were prepared from public community references including TibiaWiki/Fandom. Map-related functionality may use TibiaMaps.io.

Tibia Tools does not claim ownership of Tibia game data or third-party reference content.

9. Accounts and cloud storage

The features described in the current app do not require a separate Tibia Tools account or login.

Character progress described in this policy is stored locally rather than in a Tibia Tools user-account cloud service.

10. Data retention and deletion

Local app data generally remains until you remove the related entry in the app, clear the app's storage or uninstall the application.

Information processed by external data services or websites is retained according to those services' own policies.

11. Security

Tibia Tools limits character progress storage to the device for the features described here and uses network access only when a feature needs current public information or external content.

No software or network service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device protected and install the app only from trusted sources once it becomes publicly available.

12. International processing

Public APIs, map services and external websites may operate infrastructure in different countries. Normal network requests may therefore be processed outside your country depending on the service used.

13. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Tibia Tools features, data sources or platform requirements change. The Last Updated date will be revised when a new version is published.
