Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see an Internet option in BiteKazo Pass?

Internet transfer requires an internet connection and a BiteKazo version configured for the Internet Relay service. If Internet transfer is temporarily unavailable, you can use Nearby transfer when both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network or personal hotspot.

What is the difference between Nearby and Internet transfer?

Nearby connects the two devices through the same local Wi-Fi network or hotspot. Internet transfer uses an encrypted session through a temporary relay so the devices can be on different networks.

Why do both devices show a six-digit code?

The code is a security check. Confirm that the six digits match on both devices before approving the transfer. If they do not match, cancel the transfer.

Are participant photos sent with sessions?

No. Completed-session transfers do not include participant photos. Profile transfers can include a profile photo when you choose to send it.

Why do I see ads?

The free version of BiteKazo may display advertising on selected non-critical screens. Ads are not shown while actively counting, using BiteKazo Pass, scanning QR codes or creating the shared result image.

What is “Privacy choices” in Settings?

When required, this option opens Google's privacy-choice interface for advertising. Its availability depends on your region, prior choices and applicable requirements.

How do I remove ads?

When available in your store, use the one-time Remove Ads purchase in Settings. It is a non-consumable purchase, not a subscription.

How do I restore my Remove Ads purchase?

Open Settings and select Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple App Store or Google Play account used for the original purchase.

Why didn't my profile photo return after reinstalling the app?

Profile photos and other BiteKazo session data are stored locally unless you transfer them yourself. Store purchase restoration does not restore local BiteKazo profiles, photos or session history.

How can I share a result image without participant photos?

Participant photos are off by default in the share preview. Leave the photo option disabled before sharing.

What information should I include in a bug report?

Please include your device model, Android/iOS version, BiteKazo version, language, the feature you were using, exact steps to reproduce the issue, and a screenshot if appropriate. Do not include private transfer codes, keys or sensitive personal information.
