Tibia Beacon combines local companion tools with current public Tibia information. This policy explains what is stored on your device, when external services may be used and how advertising may work.

1. Overview and unofficial project status

Tibia Beacon is an unofficial companion app created by JJ Studio Entertainment for players of Tibia. It is not affiliated with, authorized by or endorsed by CipSoft GmbH.

Tibia, the Tibia name and related game content remain the property of CipSoft GmbH.

2. Information stored on your device

Tibia Beacon stores app preferences and locally managed progress on your device. Depending on the feature, this may include saved characters, favorites, tracker status, quest progress, access progress, Soul Core progress, recurring-task progress, saved hunt information and other feature-specific local states.

Local storage is used so your progress remains tied to the character or feature you selected.

3. Character names and live public lookups

When you search for or open public information such as a character, world, guild, house, ranking or news item, the values needed for that lookup may be sent through the services used by Tibia Beacon to retrieve current public data.

Those lookups are limited to what is needed to load the requested live information.

4. Current public data services

Tibia Beacon can request current public Tibia information when you use live features such as news, characters, worlds, guilds, houses, rankings or similar lookups.

These requests may involve standard network information such as IP address, request metadata and lookup parameters that are necessary to complete the feature.

5. Google AdMob advertising

Tibia Beacon may display advertising provided by Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads. Advertising availability is not guaranteed and can vary by device, region, connection and advertising inventory.

The app may use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) or similar consent flows where required by region, platform rules or advertising configuration.

6. Information that may be processed by advertising services

Google and related advertising services may process information such as device or other identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics and advertising-related data according to their own policies and applicable user choices.

These categories describe information that a third-party advertising provider may process. They should not be interpreted as a statement that JJ Studio Entertainment necessarily receives all of that information directly.

7. Google policies and external services

When you open external content or third-party pages, the destination service may receive standard request information and apply its own privacy policy.

8. Local tools and calculators

Many trackers and calculators work primarily with local app state or locally entered values. Inputs you provide for calculators are generally used inside the app for the calculation itself.

Some features still depend on current public Tibia information, so limited network requests may occur when you use those specific lookups.

9. Saved progress, favorites and hunts

Progress tracking, favorites and saved hunt information are designed to remain associated with the device unless you remove the related data, clear app storage or uninstall the application.

If local data is cleared or the app is removed, previously stored local information may no longer be available.

10. Accounts and cloud storage

The current Tibia Beacon companion features do not require a separate Tibia Beacon account or login for core use.

This policy does not describe a user-account cloud save system for the local progress features listed above.

11. Data retention and deletion

Local app data generally remains until you delete the related entries in the app, clear the app's storage or uninstall the application.

Information processed by Google or other external services is retained according to those providers' own policies and service requirements.

12. Security

Tibia Beacon stores local progress on the device for the features described here and uses network access only when a feature needs current public information, advertising services or external content.

No software, device or network service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device protected and install the app only from trusted sources.

13. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Tibia Beacon features, data sources, advertising configuration or platform requirements change. The effective version on the website will reflect the latest published text.
